Celebrities and dignitaries showed up at the book launch of Red Media Africa/The Future Project co-founder and managing partner, Chude Jideonwo, on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
The book titled, Are We The Turning Point Generation was reviewed by Funmi Iyanda and former editor of Thisday newspaper, Olusegun Adeniyi.
Remarks were also made on the book by former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili, Prof. Pat Utomi, Mr. Rasheed Gbadamosi, Mo Abudu, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa and others.
The event was anchored by iconic fashion designer, Mai Atafo, and the official book launch was conducted by ace comedian, Alibaba.
Towards the end of the event, the personalities including, Obiageli Ezekwesili, Mo Abudu, Funmi Iyanda, Ishmael Ibrahim, Omoni Oboli, Julius Agwu, Linda Ikeji, Gbemi Olateru, Adesewa Josh, Yemi Adamolekun, Denrele, Toke Makinwa, Vector, Kola Oyeneyin, Monalisa Chinda, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Adebola Williams and Adaure Achumba, marched out to show their support for the #BringBackOurGirls campaign with Timi Dakolo singing ‘There’s a Cry’.
